2011 Overland Adventure Rally

I've been posting around on other sites trying to get a feel of the expected turnout for DS bikes at the Overland Rallies this year.

I'll be attending the Asheville Rally - anyone else plan on showing up at one of the events/have past experience at the past event? Any info would be greatly appreciated.:victory:

We probably had 15-20 motos at the Hollister event last Sept. we are expecting more this year.

I should be bringing both my Defender 110 and my Yamaha down from BC to the WA event. The 110 will be towing the Yamaha, hopefully not the other way around...

I was at Hollister last year and will be again with the KLR this year

Last year in Hollister was killer. We had some instruction from Charlie Rauseo and Dirk Kessler. They both have raced the Dakar race. I learned so much in just a few hours with them on two different days.

I just wish the california one was a little closer to me. Way to far for an overnight trip.
