    Default Tentrax tire pressure

I recently purchased a used Tentrax with 32" tires on 16" rim. I'm wondering what tire pressures you guys run?

I figure the trailer will be just under 1K loaded and the previous owner had the tires at 20psi. Does this sound about right for the road?

Seems like I could go fairly low since its such a low amount of weight for that tire vs what a Jeep places on it.

Probably about right. I have 32's on my Samurai - about 2500# as is - and I run about 20psi on the street. On dirt/washboard roads, you'll probably want to air them down some, to keep it from bouncing.

I'd suggest the same for the tow rig - chalk test the tires at the load you will be running in the trailer.

    JK Unlimited
KargoMaster Congo Cage & HUGE rack.
    Titan 12K winch
    2.5" lift & 35" Duratracs
    RTT & awning/room
    LOTS of plans, no money.

Things went pretty well for the first time out. Learned a few things, like 16-18psi is good for the street. 10psi worked good offroad. Pulled nice and only cost me about 2mpg on the Hwy.

Had the hatch open on me once turns out the lock needed adjustment.

Plenty comfortable to sleep in and had plenty of storage space. Over all I am happy with it.

Nice looking set-up, I wish you would post more pictures of your trailer!
