How do you think it is going to weigh in the end?

Oh, how this makes me want a DSM AWD eclipse. Or a mid 2000s Evo. Time to scour Craigslist.....

I cannot wait to see the finished project on this. It's nice to someone with as much talent as yourself make such a fine machine. If for some reason you end up selling it before you run it, or even after pending the outcome, I got dibs....

Seriously. Though Sacramento is quite a drive from VA. I can make this street legal here as it would just require a safety inspection. No emission tests whatsoever on that year model.

I'd make one like that if I could, but I don't have those resources. Or the experience for that matter.

Fine ride you're making there sir.

Thank you for the kind words, If I ever do sell it I'll keep you in the loop, but I don't plan on selling this one ever.

As far as finished weight it should be lighter than it was in factory trim but I'm not 100% on an exact number yet.

Have to finish the V-mount ducting still

Remade the hydraulic lines with these nice things too.

Any plans to increase the front travel? My only gripe with the Monteros is the lack of front travel. I'm jealous of the Toyota guys and the new a-arms they can get.
