    Default Photographer Ready to Go

I am a freelance photojournalist / videographer, living on the road. My partner for a five-month expedition just backed out and I am looking to begin planning the next adventure.

I'm mobile, agile, and ready to go. Experienced in rough conditions and outdoor medicine. Possibility to bring expedition sponsors on board.

Look forward to hearing from you!

    Hi Jess,

    Welcome to the forum.

Just a heads up - there's a typo on your FireGirlPhoto info/bio page:

Says, "Her written word in" but looks like it should be "written word is".

    Nit-picky I know, but what can I say - I guess I've just got editor's eyes.

    Cheers and good hunting.

    DWH,

Thanks for the tip. I'm rather embarrassed - too much site work late at night and it shows.

Thrilled to be here and looking forward to making some connections.

I too call "the road" home and have for the past 8 years. Most of what I do would be termed adventure travel, not true expeditions. However I do have a two month trip planned to run down the continental divide by 4X4 late this summer (see thread posted under backcountry adventure planning) and may spend my winter traveling in Baja. If any of this sounds like what you are looking for send me an email as I probably won't revisit this thread very often. I checked out your gallery briefly, some very nice stuff displayed.

It's been a while since we heard from you. Are you still looking for a trip? I'm planning a 2 month trip to the Artic Ocean. If you want to look at the posting its in the FJ Crusier Forum under planned expeditions 2012 Alaska Trip.

    Hey Sarge,

I've made commitments in Texas that will keep me based here (within reason - shorter trips / stints should work) for about another year.

I'll check out the posting - would love to join an expedition like that!

We're often on the move and interested in having a photog around rather than trying to shoot this stuff ourselves.

Primarily East and Central Africa. If you're interested, PM me. There's often stuff on the calendar 6-12 months in advance.
