Well, we have found a Doka which will fit our needs and have a deal pending on it . . . . so we'd like to sell the U1550L to clinch the deal. As mentioned, we're willing to negotiate on the price with any serious buyers. Our loss is your gain.

This is a great vehicle with many desirable options and will make a perfect expo, work or recreational vehicle for the right person.

    Cheers

Yes, the vehicle is currently registered here in BC and has passed all required governmental inspections.

Please post pics of your new rig when you get it.
    Bump for the sale!

Price reduced to $59,900 (with the command box) or $57,00 without the box.

    :-)

PM Sent. The deal on the doka we were looking at fell through. Consequently, we're not in a position where we need to unload our Unimog quickly or cheaply. It's a great vehicle and we're currently looking into options for extending the cab. However, if a suitable doka comes on the market again . . . . :-)

Yes, but considering it took almost a year to not sell it when you were in a hurry...

Anyway, clearly if you can find a way to make the existing one work you will be very very happy for many year$ to come. GL!

As tmax keeps telling me, nothing every happens quickly in the Unimog universe.

Okay, as luck would have it, we've found another vehicle that we think would suit our needs better. Sooooo . . . the U1550L is once again actively on the market. If it hasn't sold by the time Overland Expo arrives, I'll drive it down for any potential buyers to look at. I have someone who wants to buy the command box so the Unimog is available either with or without this. As you can see in the photos on the original posting, the Unimog has the detachable sides and back for the truck bed, as well as the frame and orange cover. The Unimog is currently priced well below what we have invested in it and would make a great Expo vehicle for someone. :-)
