With the NorthWest Overland Rally in Ellensburg, WA just around the corner, we felt it was time to start our newest vehicle build, a 2011 Toyota 4Runner.

Subscribe to the thread and follow along as we build a capable overland vehicle in the next couple of weeks. And if you are attending the rally, you can come see the vehicle in person and ask any questions you may have.

Today, the Old Man Emu suspension goes in.

Starting with a Limited..... Nice touch.

Quick suspension question on the build.... Why not ICON, T/C or Camburg????

It's a fairly new tire to the market that we have never tested, so we decided to go with Rugged Terrains over the All-Terrains. Once we have a few thousand miles on the tires, we will let you know how we like them.

I'm curious to see what the opinion is on the Rugger Terrains, looks like you guys are off to a nice start with this one.
