Looks like im keepin the old gurl. The guy changed his mind about tradin, and I fixed my fuel problem. Shes gettin 15 mpg hwy at 55 mph

Good choice. A friend of mine had the same truck when I was in college. He put a mild lift on it and a 1.5" bodylift with 35" Mud tires. Fun truck to 4x4 in. Was easy to fix as well.

definetly, don't trade her off. There is so much potential there. I really miss my '81 RC. I swapped out the tired 318 for a fresh 360, even here at altitude I was getting 13 to 14 mpg. I built a custom center console for it, and really wanted to do more when life intervened. I bought my Dakota Q-cab and sold off the RC, but there are times when I wish I would have kept it.

what was the mileage fix? that is a really clean looking ramcharger. you might consider a nv4500 or nv3500 out of a later model dodge to help it further if you are still looking for a little more.

It's good you didn't sell it. It's a great platform to start a good build with.

I'm looking pretty seriously at getting one for myself as well.
