Hannibal Awnings

Has anyone mounted a Hannibal 1.9M to an INTI rack on an 80-series Land Cruiser? It seems that the standard bracket would fit the rectangular bar on the side of the rack, but that the round tubing bar right above it would get in the way. So I'm assuming that the "flat bracket" option would be the way to go.

Any first-hand experience appreciated...

This is a great awning, but I had to make my own because I need a 10' (3m) awning. Hannibal really needs to have a longer model for the longer overland vehicles!

Did anything come of the Group Buy for the Hannibal Awning?

I'm curious about this, too.

It sounds like the weakest point of a Hannibal awning is the rack it's mounted on. Is there a recommendation as to what amount of weight a rack should be able to support to keep up with this awning?

A group buy would be great. I'm in between wanting an awning or sliders and a group buy might sway my opinion.

I got a nasty virus on their site! Don't go with any browser until they get it all fixed. I had to start from scratch on my machine. My IT guy worked extensively on it before we gave up.

I tried several different browsers and got the malware warning. Against my better judgement I clicked through last night. So far no problems (fingers crossed).
