    Default Local listing $400 opinions?

So I realize this isnt the best condition camper ever but looked interesting at least. Supposedly everything works but the interior could use some new cloth on the seats and bed etc. The guy selling it says it was the neighbors sons. He moved out of the country and asked him to hold it in his yard and sell it for him. This guy doesnt care what it goes for just wants it gone so he listed it for $400. I may be able to buy it for less. What are some major problems to look for?

Nothing wrong with a cheap camper. I'm currently using one that cost me $100. Check the roof and front window for leaks. Check over the floor for soft spots. Check the wood around the jack mounts. Do the appliances work?

Anything under $500 is a good deal in my books if it meets your standards. That being said, I have really low standards...

Supposedly all equipment works in it which is great I think. To be honest this would be a big step up for me from a truck cap on my trailer with an air mattress. My only wonder is if it would be stable in an m101a2 trailer since thats my planned mounting option. It may look ridiculous on it but hey who cares if it functions the way it should.

Also, get the weight off the jacks and push/ pull on them to see if they're snugly secured. If they're loose try tightening them and push/ pull again. I found wood rot on an older camper by doing this.
