    Entrance to Skookum Flats, a few miles West of Crystal Mountain.

    This is the Greenwater area, home to tons of free camping and mountain bike trails.
    A few pics from 2009 when I was camped up there, did not get anymore on the trail, battery depleted.





    Not my video, but this gives you a idea of what the trail is like.
    Many of our trails are like this, under thick tree canopy.

    I have ridden this trail many times since the early 90s.

    Ok...since the fall season is now here I will share what WAS my favorite fall ride to get ready for cross season...
    Waterline road up to the springs above Lockett Meadow...no vehicular traffic...just a service road for the pumping station up there...
    Unfortunately it was ground zero for the shultz fire and the rains have washed out the road...that and all those aspens are now toast...
    I wish I could say I would be able to ride it again in my lifetime but probably not...
