I've had this Breitling Shark Chrono since 1988. It has gone everywhere with me since. Dead reliable.

I've got this one from Dakota Watch. Lots to love..easy to ready analog dial with some nice digital features in cool blue LED. It has audible and vibe alarms (4 plus a snooze), 3 countdown timers, stopwatch, date, time, seconds and dual time. The kicker is the build in LED lights (at 10 and 2), light or strobe option. I mean I always have a flashlight in my pocket but still nice to have a backup. Oh yeah, it is rechargeable. The case back is also a mirror finish so could function as an emergency signal mirror.

But where we gonna find rubber pants our size?
I've had my Flightmaster for a year now. An extrodinary watch! The plan was that it would only be on my wrist when I was in the Air Force, but you can say it just stayed on. Did though change the strap to be a little more wearable and not so much glittery. The best part is that it's possible to use it in two different UTCs and still be chronograpic.
Had a G-shock for around 10 years, but the strap and the rubber housing didn't like the oil.

Since I travel/live/work a lot in snow country... I want an altimeter. And since I may be camping out of cell range, I want a barometer. And I want to record altitude gain/loss hiking/boarding/etc... a compass, and yes, a watch.
That said, for the last 6 or 7 years, I've worn my Suunto X-Lander. It really takes a beating...

I've had my Casio Pathfinder PAG240-7CR for a little over a year. It's solar powered and the temp/barometer has been right on with my Kestrel. I used to wear a Luminox but I'm lazy with my watches so the date was always off. I find this one suits my everyday wants and needs in a watch alot better, if I was still in the Army I would have gotten a different color but I really like the Titanium. Goes great with everything too. I've swam with it, wrenched with it, and it's held up fine.![]()
I'm a sucker for Casio G-Shocks... especially the Frogman line.
