This is one cool little trailer! I'm curious on how well the Timbren suspension works. I thought of using it (and using a homemade independent airbag setup) before I wimped out and went with leaf springs.......

The body shell is beautifully done!

Opportunity knocks once, let's reach out and grab it.
Together we'll nab it. We'll hitch-hike, bus or yellow cab it!
    Cab it?

I am very interested in seeing the Timbren stuff in action too. Looks like a solid design, and they have been doing similar stuff for years, so it "should" do well. This trailer is amazing, a ton of storage, on board everything, hot running water and a nice custom tank plus it is just plain awesome. Mike has done an amazing job, and it is sooooo light.

    Thanks!
I bought the fittings for propane hoses the same ones you get with the Coleman type. Used an anodized 6 hole block.
So its a single line from my tank in the nose to the 3 way on my back door.

Had hoses made that were the right lengths to go to the appliances.

Works well i run my stove ..barbeque and hot water heater from it.

As For the timbren i have only taken it for a short drive. I am still waiting for my tow vehicle to get finished its been in the shop for 6 weeks now. Minor complications with the drive-line swap has held it up.
But if all goes well i will be taking it out very shortly.

One thing i noticed after the swap to timbren on the trailer was it lowered the stance of the trailer over-all. So in compareing the center line of the hitch to center line of the jeeps hitch it was off by 2 inches. So i did a 3 inch lift on the trailer.

Made up a reinforced frame doubler out of 2x3 ... 1/4" x 6" plate and 3"x3" angle and welded this assembly to the frame of the trailer.
Ended up with a 3 1/4 inch lift overall.

Hopefully a report on the suspension within a week or so.

    Cheers

What I was wondering as far as the propane at your stove goes is the Coleman stove you used requires a small hard line that attaches to the side of the stove and then to a small disposable propane canister keeping the canister at its proper angle. Were you able to replace the pipe that goes between the canister and the stove or in your case, the manifold and the stove? I prefer the Coleman stove, but have not been able to convert this pipe to a soft line.

    Thanks.

I still use the small hard line from stove. The rubber line just attaches to it instead of a bottle. The problem with replacing the hard line is it is the regulator for the stove.

Exactly. the regulator doesn't have to be at an angle, you just use the hose adapter. Here is what he is talking about.

Yes, that is what I thought. I wish I could find a stove that I could run a soft line into that ran on 11" WC. I can modify a Partner Steel stove to suit my needs except it needs 25 PSI of propane!
    Thanks.
