I think if I did that to our '53, it would put my dad in his grave!

He bought it in '67, when I was still "Poopin in 3 cornered pants" as the saying goes.

Plan is for a complete resto on it, hopefully soon, now that I have my new shop up.

Hey Hillbilly, I really hope you restore that power wagon. I really, really want to get my hands on one of 'em someday and make it look something like the second one you have pictured. And, if I'm not wrong the second one has a wyoming tag on it. :drool:

I love all the civvie power wagons, admittedly mine is not. I'm pretty sure it counts as one of the few M37 expo vehicle. I DD'ed it for years, put about 100000 miles on it. I drove it to Moab, Rubicon, Farmington, Colorado, all through the southwest and wheeled it, and cut some AZ trails back in the 90's.

It's ugly, but I like it, that is the first bumper, first roll cage, first everything I ever built...it was my first "car"...
