I think I want to put a lid on it and install lift assist supports. Any suggestions? And I'm looking for matching wheels on ebay.

    Thanks teejaywhy!

    Justification Update

Sunday I got to work at 5:30am and was asked by a coworker with a flat if I had a tire pump. Yes I do! Because I drove my truck to work today and it is always loaded with repair equipment. I offered tire plugs but they said they would just go to Walmart and get it fixed later.

I was working an entrance gate to the Facility I work at and I noticed a huge water spot at around 8am figured the night shift guy dumped the water from the post cooler. At 3pm one of my buddies said Hey man why didn稚 you tell me I leaked all my coolant? He left his car in the parking lot and at 6pm when I got off work I went to my uncle痴 house to get his tow dolly it was in the woods the 4wd jeep would have been nice. Towed the car to his house and called it a day. See I知 telling you guys I just get sucked into things.

The Jeep is losing coolant with no puddles in the drive I fear it may be head/head gasket related anyone got any experience with the 4.0?

01 wrangler tj. The local parts store wants 480.00 for the head plus gaskit kit, or 1800.00 for a long block. So for a little ove 3x as much I can replace the 125k mile with a crate.

October 4th, 5th and 6th I spent with family in Southern IL. I loaded up the Wrangler with my tools, ramps, jack stands, jack and a full set of front brakes for a 98 Jimmy and a cooler full of soda. The jeep had about 400lbs of gear in it, the back seat was folded up there were only 2 backpacks above the tub height. I really feel it was overloaded the suspension was super soft and it bounced all over the road the whole 600 mile trip. It made me realize how much I needed the trailer. The back was only 1/2 full with the seat still in. I could have easily way over loaded the jeep by removing the back seat and filling the whole back end. Not that I could have put 2000lbs in the jeep but with the space the seat was taking up and filling it to the roof I could have been well over 600lbs. So I'm actively looking for matching rims so I can move forward with my build.

Still no wheels I hate to give in spend money on wheels I don't intend on keeping. I did screw some plywood to the top and set in the stove left over from the pop up. I love my Coleman stoves but I can build a box just the right size for this one and put a mounting bracket on the side of the trailer.

I cant find my camera wire so pictures will have to wait.

The '00 on Jeep 4.0's were plagued with head problems. Casting # 0331 If I recall right.

Google "Jeep 4.0L head problems", lots of info out there.
