    A little more progress tonight
    P9010195.JPG
Back end/bumper welded together 4 short pieces
    P9010196.JPG
Used clamps and a strap to hold it in place
    P9010197.JPG
Tacked in ready to flip and install rear receiver tube

Have any of you read "Gear Lists for Overland Travel" by TACODOC? really detailed.

I have a start on some of the items Bill Burke suggests in his video and plan on getting all of them eventually.

Any one have any suggestions for recovery gear and Duck Tape doesn't count, I carry so much because everyone I know goes out un prepaired.

Side note: Stopped by the local shop wheels and tires $65 wont be the best but I can set hitch height and fender placement.

No progress yesterday or today. took the starter out of my 4 Wheeler yesterday (waiting on compressor parts) parts came in the mail so I rebuilt the compressor today after work. I had to get the compressor up and running so I can sand blast the frame. More pictures soon.

    P9060210.JPG
the previous owner said they wouldnt pour fast enough so he punched a hole in it
    P9060212.JPG
so I welded it up (with water in it) and sand blasted it
    P9060215.JPG
then shot it with Dupla Color Etching primer

They are rotopax I like the 2 gallon size for the 4 wheeler, lawn mower and generator but I like the jerrycans to take large volumes of fuel.

Here are a couple of pictures from today
    P9160226.JPG
I took the wheels off the Wrangler and trailer to measured the hubface
    01 Wrangler 61"
    Trailer 54"
The local rim shop stocked 1.25" thick 5 on 4.5 spacers so I picked them up today the wheels will go on but the center cap pops out. The track is about 4" off but if it matters later I will get thicker spacers.

I did learn a bit doing it this way, to get the TV wheels with small centers to fit all 7 places you have to use spacers. I have a 1" spindle on a 2k axel if I had the direct grease axels, 3.5k or a larger spindle I would need thicker spacers.

First shake down run report. Took all the scrap from the trailer 200 lbs or so and the cans my daughter was saving to the junk yard. Tows really well, backs like a dream I would venture to say it backs better than the 16' 2 axel utility trailer. I am looking forward to adding the fenders to get some width so I can see it better. No matching Jeep wheels to be had at that junk yard so I will keep looking.
