    The H3 with lockers front and back is a very capable off road truck. In fact I feel its better than an H1 (OVER ALL). H1s are a great off road vehicles but are just to wide for many trails. The H3 on the other hand will fit just about any trail. To me that is what makes it better. I tried to find one with lockers but when they stopped building them I was a few days late starting my search. They could be had for very very little for what you were getting.

    I really love my 3, they are rare on the trails. But thats why I like it so much, not your everyday run of the mill rig like so many of of the others. Just found this thread and have to say these are some nice looking hummers on here. Heres mine

    Thanks Recon, I still have to do something with the fuel door. And I really love your h3, its one of a kind and all those mods youve done make it one of the best looking rigs around. No mather what brand!

    Guys,
    I just finished up a 10 month project on my H1 and I thought you might like some pics. I modified or changed all parts from the hubs to the tcase. I have a full 12k GVRW driveline ... My new top speed (3.08's in diff, 1.96's in portals equats to a 6.04:1 LOL) I redline out at 3200 rpm in fourth gear at 78mph .

    I also had a local guy fab up that sexy custom bumper with
    - 42" 180lb tire wheel combo
    - (2) 4 gal roto pax diesel pax's
    - a high lift
    - bottle opener
    - Led marker lights
    - rigid dually fog clear lense reverse lights

    oh and i installed:
    - Auburn f/r lockers
    - rev airlift hooks
    - massive brakes f/r (new rotors, calipers, brackets, ss lines, and pads)
    - deleted my abs system
    - custom anodized switch panel
    - Ralley 4000 (HID conversion)
    - Custom brush guard
    - exhaust mod
    - cooling stack mod
    - (2) wagon gear relay boxes
    - (3) yellow top optimas
    - Custom internal storage stuff
    - 10" custom made hunting knife that has the truck's VIN on it
    - Modded slant back washer tank so each front windshield has its own pump and a pump to shoot water directly at people behind me
    - Centered my front Diff so now all my halfshafts are the same and i only have to carry 1 spare
    - halfshaft retaining bolts
    - upgraded f/r driveshafts from 1310 spicer ujoints to 1350
    - 100% 1/4" thick steel skid plate from front bumper to rear
    - Lifted the rear Aux tank 2.5"s
    - Rebuilt my CTIS manifold
    - Fixed all the locks and power windows (this is a big deal in an H1)
    - All tie rods, rod end, idler, pitman and ujoints were replaced
    - 304 stainless hose clamps used through out

    There is still a lot more to come
