Default Woo Hoo! I'm a Ham!

Just got home from taking my Technician Class Amateur Radio License exam.
    Scored 100%

Yahoo! Now I'll be legal when I get the radio I ordered yesterday!

AND, I'll be "in the know" when the trail leaders are all yacking away on 2 meters...

Way to go Ed! You've always been a ham in my book. A different kind, though.

    good job from KE7NKP
we really ought to try to get a net going if we can link repeaters from Tuscon, Phx & up north..
I know I can hit prescott or mingus at times from Phx..
not sure how to link to Tucson..
maybe an am drive time or weekend net to talk up 4x4 stuff...all the airtime I listen to now is radio related (understandably, but not my main interest)..
Oh congrats and so pics of your setup when running...
I have the yaseu VX6 with perm antenna and planning to buy the yaseu 8800 as soon as my 9yr old gets his lic.
    enjoy
