    Default Found an older woman....

    For my around town adventures....

Sometimes you just find motorcycles beautiful, and have to have 'em....

    1968 R60US

Unrestored (repainted once), dependable rider....6 Volt, Kick Start only (after 39 years she still starts first kick, 36K.....

Now....I'm tempted to take her through Mexico!

    Ohhh that is so SWEET.

My Dad's last Bike was a 1961 69 RS. Had the full gear with fairing. It was last tagged in 65. It was PERFECT. Dad would run it around the block a few times every couple of years then Fill the cylinders full of ATF and let it sit for a couple years. Then drain it run it and refill.

Mom sold it in 82 after he passed. Didn't tell me what she was going to do it either.

Here is a picture of it from about 1964. My Mother is in the tent. LOL

Congratulations on a beautiful bike--you're a fortunate man. I worked with a guy around 1970 who had one of those and a R27--he let me ride both; they were wonderful, and so smooth (I owned Yamaha 360 Enduro at the time--it was a totally different world).
