my rig, sadly, a C10, would love a K20-30 of the same year. 1975 454/th400 got the motor running for a week, then a whole hornets nest of electrical problems hit, ps pump went out, power brakes went out, and I gave up and now daily drive my XJ...thinking about taking the motor out and selling the rest. I will only ever buy a burb with this front end though, damn sexy...would like to keep but I have nothing to use it for. just sits. and waits. sad really. been sitting since 99, with the exception of the time I got it to run :) paint job is ugly too IMO, original color was red, PO painted it with this stripe deally..

Loving the `Burb´pics everyone!:Wow1: Eagle, I would not be too worried about the electrical issues in your `Burb´. Go in there ane remove all aftermarket wiring. I had electrical problems with my 78 too. All I had to do was remove a garbage bag full of aftermarket wiring, and the whole issue was done with. Remember, if you sell it you will really regret it. If you are not cool with electrical get a shop to do it...:ylsmoke:

I replaced the ignition switch, it started up fine a few times, then when I would turn the ignition to start it, it sounds like there is electricity arcing under the hood somewhere, it sounds like someone is welding down there, problem is, I can't find where it is arcing and I didn't have anyone to turn the key while I watched for it. at this point I need to drain the tank of old gas. I really don't have a need for a 2wd which is the problem. it is a tow rig and I have nothing to tow lol. I may hold onto it for later I guess, about the only sentiment it holds is memories of going out to the BMX track with it when I was 8.. then it got parked in 99 and has been sitting since. it needs a lot of work to get it where id want it. few rust holes in the roof, rear quarter panel on the passenger side needs to be replaced. few more rust spots here and there, paint...who knows what I'll do with it.
