I can't agree with AeroNautiCal enough! Not all of us have the cash flow to add the latest and greatest equipment and gadgetry to our vans... a little ingenuity and elbow grease can go a long way... in your case, I think you could make anything with just your bondo and welder!

Thanks guys. But, i`m not close as skilled as many others out there, i just like trying things...

Loaded it all up, so i`m ready to leave this night for an 4 day offroad event:

I'm also interested in buying a L300 back here in Romania and start a similar project like yours. Can you tell me what to look for when buying it? What about fuel consumption, because I found one just like yours with the petrol engine!
    Any other tips are welcomed!

Well, look out for rust. It`s just everywhere... Except from that you should have a look athe the transmission and clutch. They`re not the strongest thing out there... Fuel consumption is between 13 and 16l/100km...
Where in Romania are you located? I`m going to do a Romania trip in the summer...

Returned from the offroad event today. The L300 did really well, i even got really good fuel mileage, actually the best since i bought it...

First we did some mild offroading. No pics of the difficult stuff though...

Thanks for the tips! I will keep you posted if it fits the requirements. I am from Bucharest, but if you would like some routes or any info about your trip to Romania let me know. Maybe I will join you for a couple of days to show you arround!
