Default STOPTECH needs a Land Cruiser

    Hey guys,

We are looking for a 2008 or newer Toyota Land Cruiser ASAP. We are in the process of developing a brake kit for this application and need a vehicle to use for testing the kit. Please contact us if you or someone you know is interested in helping us develop this kit. Please direct all questions and concerns to David Lim at (310)933-1142 (direct line) or email dlim@stoptech.com.

We are located in the industrial area of Compton in Southern California, less than a minute from the freeway.

For more information about the company, please visit www.stoptech.com.

We really appreciate your help on this. Thank you!

Post this over in the 100 series forum on IH8Mud and some will jump on quick. If you were a little closer and my truck was torn apart I would jump on it. Are you only working on sets for 18" rims or also for a set for 16" rims? 16's are more common FYI.

It sounds like they are looking for a 200-series. I agree, more interested and higher population on ih8mud.com

Stoptech . . . haven't heard that name in a while. I worked over at Kinetic Parts with Steve Ruis before he went to Stoptech back in, what, the late '90s?

    How's business?

oops. Missed the year in his post. I guess because Spresso just put some on his rear and said he thinks they are working on some for the front I just assumed this was for the 100 series.

Versa visa . Fronts are on...rears supposedly are in the design stage of development.

Yes...they are now looking for a 200-Series candidate.

FWIW: The Stoptech Front Big Brake Kit for my 100 was one of if not the most dramatic improvements I've made to date. Phenomenal.

And no: I didn't get paid (cash or parts) to say that

Thanks for your replies. This has also been posted on the IH8MUD.com forums.

We need a vehicle to help complete a custom project we are working on, but this kit will not be available to the public, as far as we know. We currently do have a kit available for the 200 series if anyone is interested though. In exchange for use of a vehicle, we offer replacement parts at no charge or a generous discount off of our big brake kits.

goodtimes - The company is doing great, as our sales and engineering offices have been growing this past year!
