    Default Casper's Xterra Build

I was told of this forum a few weeks ago while at the Adventure Trailers Pyramid Lake adventure. After looking through the pages I like what I see and figure I would tell you alittle about my X.

    Starters
    2000 Xterra XE Silver Ice

    Mods
    3 inch Calmini Lift
    Roger Brown Rock Sliderz
    Calmini Front and rear Bumpers
Warn 9000 winch (many years old but it works great)
    Garmin iQ GPS
    Apline stereo
    Infinity speakers and amp
Cobra 75 CB w/firestick antena and fold over mount
    32' 11.5' Goodyear MTR's
    PIAA Ion crystal fog lights
    PIAA Xtreme White headlight bulbs
Custom back seat area for one 135lb Alaskan Malamute

    And with it
Adventure Trailer Chaser with preatty much every option including matching wheels, tires and paint.

So far I love it. I have many plans to continue building it. SAS, gears, gobi rack and much more all all in the plans. I just need some more $$$$$. All in good time.

I haven't quite figured out how to link pictures yet, but I will soon. In the mean time here is the link to my webshots page with some good shots http://rides.webshots.com/album/551030427pLoGhn

Hope I can join some of you on a trip from time to time, and hope to get some good ideas from you as well.

    Casper

P.S. Hey, I have figured out how to post pics.

    Very cool setup!

BTW, where'd you get that antenna mount? I've seen them in pix but never in person.

    Oh yeah, welcome to ExPo!

    Hey Jimbo,
Thanks. Loosing Porthos was really tough. He was just too young. I truly thought I would never get another pup again. Well, things change. I moved to Nederland, Colorado last October for a new job (truly love both the job and the area). While I have good friends here already, and made many more when I moved I still felt a tad lonely at night. A good friend close by told me about a friend of his that bred Alaskan Malamutes. I had a look and one thing led to another. I now have a new (not a replacement, just a new mind you) traveling buddy and furry friend. His name is Aramis (yep, I still love the Musketeers) He was born on January 15th of this year.

    His first ride home.

    Checking out the new house.

    Eating my shoe.

    Squeaky ball fun

All tuckered out from a big first day.

    First shopping trip.

    Being a goofy puppy.

    Chilling outside.

    First ride in the X.

And finally big enough to get on the sofa.

Having a puppy is..... a learning experience, but I'm getting it.

    Cheers,
    Josh

Beautiful pup and I'm sure you're gonna see a lotta Porthos inem--

We all have to move now and then and we can be real lucky if the "MOVE" has more +'s than -'s, I'm glad you found a goodun--

I probably won't getta chance to seeya, I doubt if I'll be going to Colorado for a while--I'm going over to the Bowman area for 3/4 days and I have to goto Coeur-D-Alane for a week, then Las Vegas, so

    Everybody's gotta story-

    Glad everythings OK-

    Hey Scotty,
I think I posted all the ones I had, but if you can give me a few day I will see about taking some new ones. Any particular shots you are interested in seeing?

    Cheers,
    Josh
