Default Oops I did it again!

I apologize for the Brittany Spears reference, my bad.

However, I just had the opportunity to purchase my old fj40 back from whom I bought it. It may be silly, but in just a few years we made a lot of memories in that rig. It's a 1972, 1978 engine swap (2f), weber carbed, flowmaster, SOA on 35's, (done by the late Wardens) with a 8274 winch. It is far from perfect, need new shocks immediately, but the engine runs strong as an ox.

I don't need something else to spend money on, but when my 5 year old daughter said to me, "daddy, you have to buy the white cruiser back so I can get married and drive off in my wedding dress in it" I figured it was worth the investment.

So another saga begins. . .
    First priorities:
    1. Shocks (would love the 7100's, but I think I need to go cheaper)
    2. 2inch receiver and wiring for towing the Adventure trailer.
    3. Metal Tech Family Cage. . .

That will keep me busy for a while.

Here's a pic of all three, obviously, it's the white one.
    keep you posted.

If my 5 year old said that to me, I'd lock her in her room! LOL! Just kidding - I wish she'd say something like that so that I'd have an ally to help me convince my wife. My wife did say to me this weekend "I bet your thinking about getting a Land Cruiser (40)."

    She's a smart woman!

Love that rig. Congrats on getting it back.

DesertDude, I remember seeing your 40 before! Awesome. I wish I could make mine as nice as that one. Someday. . .

Jacket-Yeah, I don't like to think about that day, but she's a planner I guess. I'll see if I can find a pic of her in the croozer
