Windows tablet and software

I have restarted my search for a medium sized tablet running windows (NOT VIsta), software providing highway turn-by-turn, and mapping software for use in the boonies.

I need to get e-mail and web access - via Verizon skycard - on the road so I prefer Windows, and I want to move the unit between the TLC and the Ford pick-up. WIll need several USB ports for Verizon, power, GPS aerial. Prefer touch screen w/o keyboard.

WHat are you running and how is it working for you?
