my burb project.
1986 Chevy Suburban, it started life as a 2wd, in which i slammed 6 inchs and drove like that most of the summer untill my wife hated the way it rode, and i'm more of a 4x4 guy anyway so i decided to convert it to 4x4.
the front consist of 4" lift coils from a 70's ford 1/2ton and the rear is double stacked leaf packs with a custom shackle flip (untill i get 8" springs). Also has a 350 engine 700r4/ 208 combo with a 10 bolt front ( untill i find a dana 60 ) and a full float 14 bolt with disc brakes in the rear. and is sitting on 38" super swamper tsl's.
still some work to do yet to get it moving but its well on it way. Plans include a full lenght roof rack, rear swing out spare tire carrier, front and rear winch bumpers, and a cowl hood just for looks.
And this will also be my daily driver / family hualler

lol yes the 3 point tractor link is for mock up only so that i can get messurments and check for binding or any other problems. i'm assuming thats what you think is unsafe? it will be made of dom tubing when finished.
and as far as it being to short, its as long as i can make it with the room i have between the coils.

try making the trac bar fit in front of the diff like in stock applications, u will be unhappy with the way it drives with the trac bar so short ( very bad bump steer)
