Hello again everyone, first I'd like to say thank you for helping me on my other thread in my search to find a way to mount a Jerry Can. I'll post an update over there, but long story short I'm going with a custom rear bumper that will also hold the spare tire.
In the meantime, what brings me back is my new project that I've decided to undertake. I've been doing some research on front bumpers, brush guards, etc. for the front of the Range, and quite frankly I've come up pretty empty handed. Although in carrying out my research I've discovered that some people have had success with installing an ARB front bumper for the LR3 onto their L322 (Mark 3) Range Rovers (as shown below).
In my search for finding a shop to do the customization work I plan to use Arlington Motorcar Service in Tysons Corner, VA which luckily for me is right in my backyard. The two gentlemen that run the place, Bill and Sean, are from the good ole' UK and have been working on Land Rovers in their shop for over 20 years. I trust their abilities, and their amounts of knowledge in regards to Rovers is extraordinary.
So here is where my questions start and I was hoping all of the members over here could help me out once more. I've been unable to speak to anyone who's actually done this project, but I've read numerous threads on other forums. Please share with me any information you may have on this project that you've come across of that you've heard.
So far what I know is that the project was carried out in Australia on an Range Rover L322 using a LR3 ARB Deluxe Bumper. Bill at Arlington Motorcar has already assured me that it should fit, and that I will be able to keep the use of my parking sensors, and flood lights, but anything else this community can provide will be greatly appreciated. I look forward to sharing a build thread soon, thanks again.
