Made a little more progress I only worked on it for about 2 hours today , but ill have all day tomorrow to do more

Also today I order OME fj80 2" heavy duty lift coils and steering damper from iron pig off road , ordered 14" bilstein 5165 shocks for the front also and I put an e-mail in to crown preformance about getting custom front brake lines

Ballistic fab adjustable coil bucket , I split it in half and widened it by 1" just in case I ended up using bigger springs

Most of it has been sold already over on 355nation , the rancho lift , control arms , front diff, t-bars, 09+ front brakes are all gone all I have left are hubs , cv axles, power rack, stock spindles, and my 35s with wheels but the wheels and tires are pending

Back on the ground , all the big fab done just need minor things added like , drive shaft adapter for front , lengthen rear drive shaft , power steering lines , brake lines , tab welded on for power steering cooler mount , locker wiring ,h1 wheel centers welded in and put the 37s on

Ok so me and 4wheelparts both messed up I ordered 14" shocks for the rear well there mess up they sent 13" and I did not check them well I was seeing them for the front mock up and ordered 14" again and well they sent me 14" this time they are almost 3" longer compressed and are just a touch to long , they will work but not sure I'm going to keep them ill call Monday and see about exchanging them for 13"

In this pic are 31s

Here are some pix with the 35s back on and I set it on some 3/4 trim board to tru and get it a little closer to looking like the hight of the 37s but it will still be taller but 35s would look fine

37 and jacked up to the hight the tires should hold it up to

Great work! I love blending/reusing parts from one vehicle to make it work on a completely different vehicle for express purpose. Kind of Rat Rod in it's truest form.

awesome build. Like others I didnt know you could get the colorado in a v8. Keep up the good work. How well do the tires clear the body during suspension movement

Thanks

The 35s clear fine with my setup and when I had the stock fenders as well it only rubbed on the front cab body mount that has a huge bump that everyone cuts off but it just barely rubbed at full lock , with the 37s and the sas and spring swap in the rear I'm about 3" higher so it should have plenty of room but I have not got it out of the garage yet to see

Ok it's been a wile sense I have had time to work on the truck but the last two weekends I made some time to get it driving , I still need to get some other stuff done like finish machining my front drive shaft adapter , get the rear shaft lengthened , get the right size bolts for the radius arm mounts , flip my drag link end for end and remount the steering stabilizer ( had a brain fart when I was doing that, easy fix) install the wiring for the front locker , install the new e-fan , make a mount for the 40" led , recenter the h1 wheels and mount the 37s

But anyway you guys like pix so here are some of it out running around the yard this weekend , I had a mod/bonfire meet at my house for the Colorado forum I'm on 355nation so here are pix from that

Got colliflower to adapte the Toyota line to my chevy power sterring lines

12voltguy locker wiring

Don't mind the steering stabilizer it's going to get changed

New calipers , checking clearance

40" led light bar 17360 lumens

Not very good action shots but I hit that mulch hump at about 25-30 and it was soooooo smooth

Some of the guys that came over

Only 2wd

Sitting in the door sill and my short *** still was a foot and a half off the ground lol

I'm to short and fat I could not pull myself back in lol (5'-10")
