    And got the tank installed.

So now I will have 100 gallons plus what I carry in 5 gallon cans. This will give me a range of over 1200 miles without having to refuel.

I assume you are actually talking about the fuel pump in the new fuel tank? If so then yes. As to the actual injector pump, the engine would not run without one so yes.

    Very cool build.
I've been lusting after one of these old Mil workhorses for quite a while.
Since I can't have one, at least I can live vicariously through you.

I was asking about the multi fuel capability of the engine, can you run waste vegetable oil?

Yes. It is a multi fuel engine.

Diesel, transmission fluid, kerosene, gasoline, waste motor oil, waste veggie oil.. just about any combustible liquid.

I agree. Amazing project, but I have a few questions. How's it ride on the highway? Got to be crazy noisy in the cab at highway speeds. And can you do highway speeds in this beast? Where do you actually go wheeling that you need something of this magnitude? I'm not knocking it, it's awesome, I'm just trying to think of the places you could go/fit on of these things. Very nice handy work, looks 100 pro.

What kind of batteries are those? Really cool build! I would love to do something like this.
