Has anyone removed the tub from their M416 trailer and built a 2 person enclosed camper using the frame of the M416? Ideally the enclosed camper would be designed so the original tub and camper could be switched back and forth.
If it would work and be cost effective I would like to have the plans in place to begin building in the spring. I would be pulling the trailer behind my jeep and it would serve three needs;
1) Haul stuff in an enclosed or open bed...Current M416 trailer serves this need.
2) Sleep 2 people. 90% of our camping is stopping for a night and leaving the next day. After our last trip we no longer want to set-up and take down a tent in the rain.
3) Haul my ATV and stuff to the hunting shack in an enclosed trailer.
I've looked into an enclosed 5x8 trailer as an option but, since I have the M416 already I would see if someone has converted theirs to an enclosed camper.
