    Default Qualcomm/Globalstar GSP-1600 Satellite Phone

    I am selling my Qualcomm/Globalstar GSP-1600 Satellite Phone...listing it first here on ExPo.

    I am the second owner, have used it a few times this past year, but find that I have too many electronic gadgets! So it is up for grabs!

    Just as my contract ended Globalstar put up a couple more satellites so the reception is reportedly more reliable than in the past. I don't have enough experience to comment...

    I paid about $350 for the phone, the wall charger, the 12 volt charger, belt clip, and leather case. It is in excellent (almost near-new) condition, always stored indoors or in a case. I'm selling for $275 (including shipping within continental U.S.).

    Once sold/paid, I will contact Globalstar informing them of the sale so you can have it remotely reprogrammed to your own number and account.

    Ed, what do the monthly service charges run for that type of phone? It says, unlimited $49.00/month on their site.. but do they offer a Emergency use plan that's any cheaper?
