It looks like we will have to make sure we are in Colorado by the summer of 2013 if we are going to be able to attend the National rally. I cant wait, all those US Land Rovers in the sun. We recently attended the My Land Rover Has A Soul rally here in South Africa and we had a convoy of 1007 Land Rovers. What a sight and only 2 Series vehicles decided to drop out along the way. Most of the vehicles were Defenders. Awesome!

I would love to see a picture of 1000 Land Rover in a convoy. I don't even think the military can do something like that.

Hey Timo K. Thats us at 5;12 in the 130! Pity there were so many gaps between the Landys. This is our 2nd Guiness record attempt. We were also in the 389 Landy convoy with Kingsley Holgate in 2009.

Here are some pics from our little convoy on the way to the festival. We hadn't planned to drive with the orange G4 Landy's, we just happened to meet them at the midway campsite and joined forces. We drove 1600km to go to the festival.

The Festival was held in Vereeniging, a town just outside Johannesburg, South Africa.

The first pic is of our Malaria No More stand at the festival and the second is of my buddy James from Melvill and Moon. The rest are the vehicles lined up for the convoy and a few of the convoy itself. There were Landy's as far as the eye could see.

    Thanks for the pictures.

I can't believe some people drove 1600 km to the festival. That is hard core.
