Sorry, I didn't see the "Bat Signal" calling me. For body parts, you can do ok here. I have found D150s complete and more or less rust free for $500 asking price. Saw a nice 200k mile 12v going for $1000. Didn't have the spare cash then
. There is a good local source for Dodge info and parts (bc4x4.com), but it can have a lot of meatheads on at times, so a cerebral filter is a good thing to have. If you want to buy a complete running W250 with Cummins, be prepared to open your wallet. The cheapest I found one worth considering was $4000, and it needed a box, wiring, tranny (G56) work etc. A nice looking, but equally imperfect 92 was asking $7000. The first one ('89) was worth maybe $2500, and the '92 was worth maybe $4000.

I have a Wiemaraner, a Dachshund and a wife in my bed. No room for a diesel! (I would like one waiting faithfully in the driveway though...)

So its supposed to be pretty decent tomorrow weatherwise and the batteries on the impact are charged, so I'm thinkin I'm gonna dig in and blow it all apart and see if we get it back together.
On another note I just bought a 4" exhaust for it too.

So I dug into it a little later than expected but today I got all the old bent sheetmetal off and started goin back together with it. The PO really like to cobble stuff. There were a bunch of bolts missing and a bunch of other stuff wrong with it. I got halted by a door hinge that didn't want to cooperate. I tried putting the drivers fender on but it was touching the door and the fender couldn't move forward anymore, so I tried adjusting the hinge but it was so wore out that I still couldn't get it to work, So I went and picked up another bottom hinge from a buddy and got a couple of pin and bushing kits so I can adjust the door up good, The PO had em all out of whack.

Looks like you are making good progress Pullit. Last time I had a front ender like your I took a heavy duty rope, and threaded through where the front headlamp was, and then tied the long end to a stout tree. Then I put the truck in reverse and actually pulled the bodywork back to near perfect condition. There was just a few paint flakes missing. It might be a good idea to try that with your old fender remounted and hopefully be able to get things to line up again. Then you can always remount the new fender afterwards.![]()
