    Default salton sea...

    there have been some post on travel through salton sea ,why i have no idea ...but this is a interesting read ...thought you guys might like it ...j ps i grew up in palm springs and have duck hunted and fished there when i was a kid ...http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la...rce=feedburnerps hope i put this in the right place ...

    Interesting article. If one is interested in the Salton Sea, its history and possible future, I recommend William de Buys' book, Salt Dreams, Land and Water in Low Down California (Univ. NM Press, 1999), with photos by Joan Myers.

    Hey thanks for that book recommendation. My mother is fascinated with the Salton Sea and I know she'd appreciate this book. I've yet to visit The Salton Sea but I am planning on taking a trip out or through.
