Liquid wrench should be okay. Powder coating sounds a lot better.

So this afternoon (translation: ALL DAY) I got the rear spacers installed. What a pain. I also removed the rear sway bar with out cutting it in half. That seemed too hamfisted. Who knows, I may want to put it back on someday.
    Skills:

Here it is with the rear spring spacers installed

Looks a whole lot better! What size tires are those? I actually decided to have my rear anti-sway bar as to not put too much strain on the control arms during articulation. Figured the air locker would make up for any lack of contact to the ground. Just be sure to keep an eye on them. It looks really good!

Tires are 32x11.5x15 on stock wheels that I rattle caned semi-gloss black. BFG mud terrain. Craigslist specials 5 for $500...installed.

Saving up holiday and comp time at work. Cash out is in April. Saving up for some 33x10.5 km2's!

I didn't destroy the sway bar with the notion that I could always put it back on.

I am going the 33 10.5 route as well when I need new tires. Or, I was thinking about some interco narrow SS that come in 34 9.5 15. Only thing is that they are bias ply.

I remember when I installed my rear locker and I was cursing my tiny little jack that didn't half work. Not a fun job at all to do by yourself on the ground....

Yeah it was a PITA to replace my rear coils a few months back! It was also a challenge to get the sway bar out in one piece (kinda like figuring out a rings puzzle).

How's the eBay ladder? I was looking at one last night that is $205 w/ free shipping but wasn't sure of the quality.

The ladder I got was @ $100 more, has the twist look like jaos. Ladder quality is pretty good. Not perfect. Brand on box said " wimblo" and came from direct 4x4 in UK. my only gripe is the instructions were kind of vague, one generic schematic and the mounting bolts were low grade. I bent one tightening it down. Today I'm going to hardware store and replacing nuts, bolts and washers with stainless so rust won't be an issue.
As for the ladde, it is solid, once mounted. I also like having a "refrigerator" handle for rear door. I'm pretty tall and easier on my back being able to push/pull door high up than the hatch handle location. Sounds funny, buy that's what I noticed after I put it on

Will that fit? I've Seen it on a gen 1. Would be lighter, that's for sure!
