    Also when "building" your coax always use the solder type PL 259's and a good soldering iron.

    hmmm, i dunno what solder i used...i guess i'll find out tomorrow when i attempt to dial it in (with boston mangler's assistance) if i need to re-solder...

    overall the actual install went fairly smoothly...i plan on doing a write up next week. thanks for all the help.

    It seems that I confused you with my last post. The PL259's are the coax end connections not the solder used. You can purchase PL259 connectors in a screw-on or solder-on configuration. My point was that you should use the solder-on connector.

    Bman, i believe i ended up with the type of connectors you were suggesting, thanks!
