Hmm, looking at yours, I wonder how much a Prado hood and headlights would run...could get the bumper a lot closer on my truck![]()

I don't know the clearance on the hood opening for the delux bar, but my hood would hit if it was snugged up too much more.

I did end up trimming more on the flares, thx for the feedback, I still need to pretty them up but I like it.
My trimming job is not to my liking, but whatever.
Cheers!

I am removing my flares and bed lining the underlying areas once I get the rear bumper built, so I can live with a little flaw here or there on the flares. I had to bend and redrill the bold to hold the fender toward the front during the process. I think it will look VERY good once I get the lining part done.
Finally got it all hooked up! Woohoo! Winch is on, all is well! weee
can you take a closeup of the flare cut, it may give me some ideas to clean up the look on mine.
thanks
Cheers!

Awesome GX470! I always wondered how they would look converted to a Prado style offroader. Very cool!!!!

Been following your build for a while (as well as others) but have a question for you since you're running 285/70/17s (I think...). Did you by any chance have those on before you lifted it? I'm due for new tires, sooner than expected, and the money I had set aside for my OME lift will likely be going to tires instead first. I had planned to put 285s on after the lift but I'm curious if I could get away with them for 2-3 months while I rebuild my cash fund for the lift.
Sorry for the long ramble.
