Axle selection

Anyone already done some homework to save me some time: Is there a best choice of axles rated roughly 2K, same track with as a TJ plus 2", same standard TJ bolt pattern? Thanks

In utah you cant go wrong with Henderson Wheel or State Trailer supply......all up and down the Wasatch front and either company can set you up with the axle you need. They do custom ones all the time. Online might not be all that much cheaper due to shipping vs being local.

FWIW when I worked welding trailers for a few semesters in college Hendersons is where we picked them up by the dozen.

I would also strongly suggest bumping up to a 3500 lb axle. Especially if you plan on using it offroad. The bearings/ hub/ spindle are much bigger and usually they are only ten or fifteen bucks more.

Thanks alot, sounds like really good advice. I do tend to stick to the 3 to six rated trails now a days but I do hit the 7's two or three times a year so, yeah, I'll abuse it. Thanks again
