Lookin' good! I started my lift yesterday. Didn't get as far as you tho! I had some really stubborn bumper bolts. I removed my front bumper planning to fab some brackets to raise it to match body. My truck is from the east coast and has some rusty bolts to deal with. The Whells look good, too. I almost bought a set of those in 15" and black before I decided to just paint my stock wheels black. I was also considering the Konig countersteer, but I realized that the stock mitsu wheel looks A LOT like that wheel! So I kept them.
I took a lot of pics to do a write up up on the lift, but you got it coverered.

    Keep up the great work.

BTW, did you re-use the captive washers on the stock bolts?

    thanks,

My car was originally from Las Vegas, so not much corrosion issues. All of the bolts came out pretty smooth. The bolts in the front end are a bit tough to get to. I had to remove the right head light and the intake scoop so I could reach all the way down to the frame.

I used all of the existing washers, they were a bit more beefy. I had to use a total of 8 new washers on the innerbody, not much could be done with the existing bolt setup (see pic).

The silver Dupilcolor wheel paint makes for a really nice factory looking alloy color. I've done several sets of wheels with duplicolor and they all turned out awesome (paint does tend to stick better to the alloys vs. steel wheels I found).

I think it would match your fender trim great. This is the silver color on my land cruiser rims and comparedto Red87's factory mitsu.

Captive washers on the stock bolts? I think they're just regular washers. The hardware provided in the 4crawler kit is an SAE bolt/nut/washer unlike the stock metric bolts/nuts/washers.

I was referring to the tab at the end of the bolt that prevents it from rotating.

You'll also be way more upset when you scratch em if you payed all that to get them powder coated.

So now that the body lift is out of the way, decided to throw some ideas around and get some measurements on how to mount the ARB Toyota FJ-Cruiser bumper.

    Removed the stock bumper

    back of the ARB bump.

the center frame mount unbolts from the rest of the unit

wont be using that, although maybe borrow the center piece for reinforcement

pretty good width for a 2.5 gen

has plenty of room for a winch/plate inside

so have a pretty good idea of what Im gona do to make this thing work. Will go shopping for metal this week, hopefully Ill find what I want.
