[QUOTE=scosanf;1034248..... but now I have the formulas all set up in a spreadsheet so I can play around with different loads, inverters, batteries, and generators. Sent from my SCH-I800 using Tapatalk[/QUOTE]

I don't suppose you would be willing to share your spreadsheet with us would you..

Nice project, I have an old dirtbike trailer that I was thinking of doing something like this to.

How do you like those Baja TA's?
    08' JK 2-door, locked, 5.13's, H1's, 37's.
    06' KJ 4x4
    98' XR440

I love the Baja's. I've made one run on them, and they performed better than any tire I've ever used. I crawled everything in low gear at about 800 rpm, even the stuff I usually have to have wheelspin to get over.

I'll post up the spreadsheet tomorrow, it's at work.

Well, it's not finished, but close enough for a test drive to Gilmer next weekend.

Took it for a spin this afternoon, it pulls nice. Made 25-30 miles at highway speeds, didn't see any issues.

I learned a couple of things in installing the frp this weekend.

The special glue for the frp seems like a great idea, because it gives you some time to work instead of instantly grabbing like contact cement. The down side is, it doesn't instantly grab like contact cement. I used it on the top, and after fighting for a whole day to keep it nice and flat, I switched to contact for the sides.

Also, the little plastic molding that is made for the frp isn't going to work. I don't like the way it fits, and it won't hold up to any kind of impact or pressure. I'm going to replace it with 1" aluminum angle at some point. I should have gone that direction to start with.

What size rims and tires are you running on the trailer and what is the start angle of your torsion axle?

Just an A/T 31*10.50*15 on I think an 8" wide rim. I would like to have a little more room under the fender, but I haven't got close yet. Now that the camper is there, I could pull the fender up a little, but that would be less than an inch.

Made the 4 hour haul to Gilmer. Trailer pulled great. MUCH easier to set up camp when you're not sleeping in a tent.

Daytime shots in camp, and some goofing around Jeep stuff. We had a great weekend. Now it's time to get back to work. Next trip is May 5, after that is Ouray in late June.
