Out exploring the Water Tank Trail behind my house. Looking back at San Elijo Hills.
I came across this interesting find while riding.
My guess is a deer antler. Pretty cool in this part of town.

I have to remove the front rack in order to get the Moonlander on the Thule T2 bike rack. It is a bummer and I am trying other options. I have recently lengthened the skewer on a Bike Tight. This is a front fork mount rack on top of the Jeep. This works well but has lead to other issues, height getting into my driveway for one. I have a trellis with a 9' clearance. Simple means I have to remove the bike before entering the driveway or else have the consequence of damaging the bike. Plus the skewer for now is just a large bolt. So I have to use two wrenches to attach the bike to the Jeep. Next time it is up there I will snap a shot.
Working on the updates. Kids are out of school and my riding time has been drastically reduced by the boss! Still love the bike.
Glad to hear it worked. I am sure it was a pleasant surprise!

Tony called and got me out to Lake Hodges, for a little bit of exploring.
We rode the upper trail which I had not been on in years. A good find with nice views of the lake.
Out to the East of I-15, Tony said we could make a loop. This was cool as it was new territory for me. Off in the distance is Mount Woodson.
We found this bridge that had been washed out. Tony was a true leader and assisted me with my bike as I took photographs.
Then we came across this sign which quickly turned our cool ride into a pavement pounder. No big deal we hit the streets and found our way back to the trail just south of Lake Hodges and I-15.
The GPS file shows some added riding around San Elijo Hills off in the distance. The boys rode there scooters and I escorted them around as they looked for things to jump.

Hi Justin,
Hope you don't mind me posting some pics of my new Moonlander in your thread. It finally arrived after a 3 month wait. The area in the Netherlands is called "Kampina".
The little girl in one of the pics is my youngest daughter Tara.

I picked up the Moonlander last weekend. This evening was the most I've ridden it so far. I ran across this great photo op on the way home and had to post it. Its not too bad considering the lighting and the fact I took the picture with my phone. I should get to the delivery write up and pictures this weekend.
