31s on Stock ZJ

Got a smoking deal last night on some 31x10.50s that are in great shape. Decided to throw them on today and see how it went. It's a bit tight, but not as bad as I expected. They do rub the control arms just a smidge at full lock, but I rarely turn lock to lock anyways. It's getting a 2" budget boost in the next couple of weeks. Just wanted to share since I know the general consensus says not to put 31x10.50s on a ZJ with no lift at all.

If you are planning to go off road you will need the 2" bb for sure you u will get other kinds of rubbing. I ran the same with the 2" BB and black steelies with 4.5 inch backspacing and it worked great.

regarding the tire rub, put a washer behind each of the steering stops on the knuckles. link here - http://www.4x4xplor.com/steerstop.html

worked for me. running same tires with a 2" BB and on my ZJ.
