Some sort of lost...
I was pretty happy with the set of STTs that I had, but I love my km2s more. The STT was great in deep snow but not so good with a dusting of snow or plowed roads. I ran the same set on two trucks so I don't know how long they lasted for sure, but they seemed to wear well.
By comparison, the km2s are much better in light snow, quieter and smoother and the highway, and are wearing great. Ive got 45k miles on a set of 35x12.50s, with 4.56 gears, a Detroit locker and a heavy foot. The tires still haven lots of tread left too. I will definitely replace them with another set of the same. I considered trying the toyos but none of my friends seem to get many miles out of them.

Where do you live Brian? The snow we get in coastal mtns of BC is not a good combo with KM2s. I guess they would do better in dryer, colder snow. They weren't bad in deep snow, but pretty scary at times in highway use with less than 3"s on the ground.
