I have been working alot so the rover project has been slow but I have a few weeks to get things done on it. Im putting togather the 110 doors for the fronts and getting a webasto heater up and running thanks to the Rover Shop.
Waiting on a few parts to roll in and then full speed ahead.

It's looking beautiful!
Well I have got a few more things done, I have installed an 8274 that I found on craigslist for 300.00 that is in good working order. Installed a set of hellas that has been on the shelf doing nothing. Installed the headlight gaurds and working on where to my shovel and axe. nearing the end rover (2).jpgAttachment 109661
I havent had a chance to install the 255/85/16 BFG KM2s but am really excited to see how they look. nearing the end rover (8).jpg
I installed some backup lights in holes that where allready in the roof from the PO. they are just some low watt tractor type floods but should do the job.
the interior has been a huge debate on how we are going to do the expo interior. We decided to buy some wood and start assembly on the cabinets. Some of it will be painted some of it carpet and some of it torn out and redone im sure. But this is the start of what we have done, behind the drivers seat is the a inclosed area for tools and rover supplies. When the drivers rear door is closed it will hold the items in there and keep them and all spares togather and away from the living area.
I didnt take many pics but there is a webasto airtop 2000 in the rear drivers corner wheel well. It kicks out some nice heat and is pretty small and compact.
Last thing I am working on is a couple of jerry can mounts for the rear door, I got these from a expedition Rover that made a trip from South America to Alaska back in the late 70s early 80s. Ill post up some pics of the doors I got from its remains.

Love the rear cabinet, I'm designing something really similar!
The more I look at your truck , the more I think I need to make my body as cherry as the drive train!! I'm very impressed. Look awesome!!

Matt
thanks im interested to see what you come up with on yours.
Ed
Thanks Matthew
The only reason I painted mine all up is because it was in sad shape and would have been 5 different colors. If you are thinking of painting the blue bomber dont do it!! it's awsome just as it is.
