A different Siberian pic that suntinez posted in another thread:

This looks darker than the beige one, is it just the light, or is this another vehicle?

All the pics I posted are of the same Siberian, the one on display at OVX 2012. There's a few of them out prowling about now.

I've just spent the day at Provan getting a few upgrades, and am completely impressed with the team. Passionate, talented, interested in our opinions and fun. I really like Mark Guild's philosophy, "My team can do anything - what do you want?" I'm even happier now to be a Tiger owner.

And keep your eyes peeled for a new offering about to be released - it's beautiful! Siberian styling, shorter than a CX, tall as a Bengal and incorporating a lot of the changes I've heard requested. Currently on an F250, but may be released as a product on the F350. Stay tuned ...

Shorter than a CX? Must be built on a short bed chassis, which makes sense give how everyone seems to want extended or crew cabs. Its tricky to get a good layout in that little space and still have a useful bathroom (without putting the bathroom in the entryway).

Actually, think of it this way - the current model is built on a lengthened frame. If you don't lengthen the frame ...

A little Siberian Tiger Porn

This is one of the latest to be built - big Contis, full air suspension, no genset, lots of batteries, and lots of other goodies. And you have to see the bathroom/shower! :Wow1:

They're taking orders and, there is a new, lower cost option.

There are similarities in that both are on a Ford 550, both are about the same size. The big differences are in the construction - ER = composite, Siberian = Aluminum and floor plan - Siberian is more open and has dry bath. Both are very nice vehicles. I just had a visit from a stretch Earthroamer and have just returned from a visit to Columbia, so the similarities and differences are very fresh in my mind. And both are too big for my use.

This is the beast that I examined, even the same color. It is number 125 of November, 2012.

Rather interesting set up - two photo editing stations in the rear seats, extensive spaces for camera bags and tripods and half of the upper cabinets on the passenger side is taken up with RAID storage. (The owners are photographers who are full timing in the beast.)

From inside&construction, yes they are different. But some options now the same (no genset, air suspension) and XV-LTS has dry bath option too. These options make Siberian even more attractive for customers. And nice to see that camper door on ER got a window

new tiger!

as a 4x4 tiger owner i'm glad to see an american company
listen to what people want.
Provan adventure vehicles is a small company and to produce
2 new rigs in under 2 years is somewhat of a feat.
the new platform seems like it has the basis to make a very
capable off road expedition truck.
looking forward to see what can be done to it.

I'm already dreaming of a new build project!

This is a Siberian Thread

I have created a new thread for the Malayan. Posting about it here is technically off topic. Comments re. the new Malayan Tiger can go here:

http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/95391-New-Malayan-Tiger-SMB-Sized-For-Off-Roading

Thank you for your help in keeping information organized. Having information categorized by thread topic is very beneficial when people are conducting a search for specific things. Your assistance with that is greatly appreciated.

I hope the day comes when ExPo creates a dedicated Tiger Forum. SMB has one; it would be nice to see!

My Brother-in-law is having an all diesel powered Siberian built on a F550. Should be finished late July.

Would be very interested to know how your Brother-In-Law is getting on with his Siberian, particularly with regards to off road driving. i am in the market now for a new off road RV and it is looking like a choice between the Siberian and EarthRoamer LT.

OVX13 presence?

What did Tiger bring to OVX?

I've seen some pics of a Siberian there but wondering if the Bengal/Malayan (and which ones!) came to the show. Anyone get pics/impressions? Thanks.
