I found a P38 with low low KM on it. Would like to swap this trans into my 95 D1,is this possible?
I know the p38 has the Borg waner t-case, so can I just swap out the output flanges??
Looking for some to point me in the right direction.
Thanks

Isnt the P38 ZF computer controlled like the D2 one?

Cannot confirm but I heared that you can change the valve block from the disco and install,it on the p38 but the tcase is different

I heard that , too. but after making a phone call , I was told that you have to exchange the governor , too
Best would be to use a ZF22 body and bolt it to the ZF24 bell housing and turbo shaft assembly

Pardon me gents...but the P38 diffs are on the "wrong" side.
Don't worry, you're biodegradable.
You will have to use your LT230 to make it work

I think the way it bolts to the Borg box is different then the d2 to the lt 230.
