    Unhappy Rover Sacrilege

    Hi all,

I'm a Toyota 4Runner owner, but in the past I was very much into the air-cooled VW scene. Every now and then I still check up on some of the old websites I used to frequent. While doing just that today, I ran across this:

    http://www.oldbug.com/rovah.htm

Now, I have never owned a Land Rover, but I have a huge appreciation for the marque and for the great vehicles Rover has produced over the years (does owning a '65 Austin Healey Sprite count for anything?). When I saw this, even being an old VW guy, I had to cringe. Check out the asking price .

Lose the crappy engine and tub it with a front mounted LS1 - that would rock.

When I see morphs like that I think that people have too much time and money...what a waste of both!

LOL - a Land Rover Speedster. I like the construction speed limit sign used for the rear deck. No expense spared on that build.
