Tentrax project and review

I guess I will leave it yellow for now and use it for a bit before I do any major changes.
I have been buying stuff to outfit this trailer a little at a time for several months and now that I have the trailer I can start installing.
List of stuff I'm working on first-

national Luna power pack
arb fridge
12volt sockets and LED lighting
power inverter 400 watt
pelican case tongue box


I'm still looking for a water tank or cans and 2 fuel cans

If yellow aint your style, you might just get it wrapped. This way it can be returned to yellow if/when time to sell. Maybe go two-tone to match the jeep.

My thoughts exactly. Match the trailer lid to the Jeep's hardtop. If you do decide to paint it to match why go half-way?

I have made some progress on my trailer but still waiting on some parts to arrive before I can go much further.
The ARB 30 qt. fridge fits very well on the tongue rack and I tossed the cheap rubbermaid box that came with the trailer and used a Pelican case 1620 for my camp kitchen. Of course I had to add the Monster sticker (I work for them) and Sierra Expeditions sticker, Wil is great about getting my parts on time.


Test fitting the National Luna power pack and Big Kahuna shower, everything fits perfect. There really is a lot of room inside these little trailers.

Drilling a big hole for the solar panel chargeing port was nerve wracking but I had a great helper to make sure all was installed properly.

I need to find a way to cover the front panel of the fridge, I wish ARB made a better cover.

After seeing those pictures, I think the RRT idea will work out Great. It is bigger then I was thinking. Can you give more information on your solar set up? I am thinking of adding solar to my trailer.

I am using a powerfilm 60 watt fold up solar panel and so far very impressed with the quality of them, I have used rigid panels in the past but they are fairly fragile and awkward to store. The fold up panel is about the size of a notebook. I found it on Ebay for $650 shipped, not too bad.
I will post more pics when I get it finished this week, let me know a time your free and I can show you how I have everything installed.

Why do you need a RTT when the Tentrax has a tent built into it? You can see the tent poles in one of the previous pictures.

Mostly because the tent on it is not what I would consider quality and not sure how well it will work in monsoon wind and rain. the bed is not very comfortable, and also I would prefer not to have to unload everything on the tongue to deploy the tent. I will still use the tent for my upcoming trip and see how it does for this 10 day adventure.
I like the overall concept of the tentrax but if Adventure Trailers made something smaller then the chaser I would have seriously considered purchaseing one.
