Built in cooler storage / Pantry

I am in the process of converting an old boat trailer into a cargo trailer to haul our camping gear. I have a section about 64"x96" for the camping gear. The front section which is a triangle I thought about enclosing this area for the coolers and other food storage, with the idea that it would have doors to close to keep the bears and other critters out. I also thought about insulating it to help conserve ice will camping. Anybody do something like this?

Bear proofing is a challenging engineering concept.

Can be done...but how much protection can you build in?

Never done this on a trailer but have built lots of Freezers/spill fridges for boats. you use urethane foam for insulation with a epoxy glass covering then paint out with freezer paint after. freezer paint is food safe no smell etc.
you can go one step further and add a refrigeration unit nor-cold make 12 volt units. Though i imagine other company's do as well .
