Just happened to park my ambulance beside the EB 350 and the rear wheels on the same expansion joint. Hmmm the fronts do not end at the same point. Out with the tape measure and discovered that the ambo is 21 inches longer. Now I need to stop bitching Quigley about the crap turning circle.

Well at least you have a "man" size rig there to enjoy.
Having owned a 4wd Sportsmobile and having seen your rig in person a couple of times now I wouldn't worry too much about the length. You won't be doing any super technical trails and a 45 point turnaround is just part of the fun we have

I will say that the best thing I had on my rig was cameras on the front bumper that let me see right where I went, cameras on the rear (I would place yours on the roof) and even under the rig to see where the tires were.
This all fed through a usb adapter into my Acer little laptop that I used for nav. You could also feed it to a in dash stereo.
Total Vision down in Tucson did my setup on 2 rigs and they were great.
The cameras are cheaper now and worth doing to let you see all around & under a big rig like yours.

Looking forward to getting out in the dirt this spring when the wildflowers are blooming....I bet we could find some great mild trails for your "super EB"

I looked and looked for a ambo with the 138 wheelbase, and the wide box/dualies. Lots available with the 158 wheelbase, looks like you got one

Ah don't they say the bigger the rig the smaller the &$^%#????? It will definitely be an "All Roads" and not an "Off Road" vehicle.

Hi Mike: The "build" is not a lot to talk about. Apart from fixing things all I have really done is rework the long seat beside where the stretcher was and got rid of the oxygen bottle holders so that I could fit in a sleeper sofa that we had Discount Van & RV build for us. When I compare it to all the effort that hobietony has put into his vehicle I would not even call mine a build. (yeah I will be the guy with the binoculars out near the road watching him run the 3 - 4 trails).

But I did do a critical mod today. I upped the battery capacity (and added a separate battery just for the fridge) so that I can run my inverter to power the espresso machine more often

I didn't even look at the wheelbase when I bought mine (sight unseen from the east coast). My major concern was how long is the bench seat (had to be over 6 ft) and did the 4wd work? When I finally got it after waiting a couple of months for it to be transported I was surprised by the quality of the unit. I did check and see that it had rear disk brakes and the hydro brake booster but that would not of stopped me getting it if it didn't.
