Nice Rumpig, my guess for the photos, Birdsville Track, Fraser Island & Telegraph Track, Cape York. Pure Guesses could be any where in Oz. Just checking out the ExPo site & nice to see another Aussie 100 Series .... wiljen W.A

I posted previously about picking up our LX470 in May, and we still love it (save the door locks frequently acting up).
We took the LX down to Padre Island National Seashore over Memorial Day weekend, still had the paper plates on it...

After having a blowout last week, I replaced the the stock sized tires with 285 75 16 Cooper ATP tires. They will be adequate for our needs. Next up is snorkel and front bumper. Still debating which bumper to go with. I like the looks of the Dissent offroad bumper, but am most likely to go with the TJM Alloy bumper (and color match paint that polished aluminium nonsense!).
I've also done the AHC sensor trick, raising it about 1.25". I'm going to install the Slee offroad AHC override switch and also install 100 series tbars and springs to give a touch more load capacity and take some load off of the AHC system.

I planned to have this thing completely setup before this fall, but instead we're investing our money into international travel. Going to go see more of the world!

hello can you give some details for your electricity upgrade? do you have a power inverter?

Unfortunately some failures took place during using of my cruiser, for example: the short circuit in wires of the custom made fuel heater system, problems with switching on of the aux fuel tank etc. They all caused by not thoroughly installation whitch was done by our local ARB workshop. I decided to reinstall everything by own hands. The first of all I restored the original wiring scheme then laid new cables, set fuse blocks for additional systems (Air Lockers, fuel heaters, aux tank, battery separator, lamps, video recorder etc), relays, Bluetooth, the central control panel with toggle switches and the separate fuel gauge for the aux tank. The alarm system (for instance Starline), accordingly to my experience, isn`t so reliable as original Toyota electric components and it can be a weak place, therefore I installed it so: it isn`t connected to the ignition or the door lock system, it is just activate the syren and send signal to the remote control block not more...

The self-made heated fuel line

Some measure in order to increase reliability were applied, for example: unsealed sockets of lights on ARB rear bumper were replaced by sealed ones because of problem with contact caused by corrosion etc. To be honest I am unhappy with ARB production at all, excluding AirLockers...

It seems it isn`t correct to provide detailed infromation in this topic :)...
